Working To Create a Better Future for Youth in Memory of Madalyn Irene Chadbourn
About Us
On October 18th, 2023 Madalyn Chadbourn lost her life suddenly, at 15 years old due to poor medical care.
She had so much of her life ahead of her, so many milestones to reach and so many miles to travel reaching them. In just 2 months from her passing she was schedule to start Drivers Ed with one of her best friends, a milestone Maddie sadly did not get to experience. This was the next big moment for Maddie and she had dreamt of it for so long. She had talked about the car she wanted to drive (a white jeep), day-dreamed about where she would go and planned what she would do with her closest friends when they got there. Maddie will no longer get to do the things she set out to do in her life, to reach the independence that she craved or to feel what it means to be 16. Maddie will never get to drive down a long stretch of open road into a beautiful sunset.
We have decided that if Maddie can't do these things, we would like to help to ensure that those youth approaching this same milestone, with specific barriers, do. In her name, we will be working to identify those youth through nomination and using funds raised to assist in reducing the financial barriers related to obtaining a driver's license. We do this in hopes that they can travel the miles Maddie once dreamed of traveling.

Christmas Trivia Night held Dec 13, 2024
Huge amount of appreciation goes out to Brian Magnusson of Taverntainment and all who attended our trivia night. It was a huge success. Completely packed house with lots of laughs and fun had by all.
Thank you to Brooke for her senior project to raise money for the Miles for Maddie Foundation! Many participants came out to walk, and run in their yellow and pink for this fun 5K!!
A huge thank you to Angel View Reality, Boyds Custom Classics, Ma's Cafe in Deerfield, Aroma Joe's in Epsom, Christian Rollins and family and all of the wonderful friends and family who supported our foundation and made this event such a success. Thank you to all who attended and showed us and Maddie so much love!

First Annual Golf Tournament from 9.14.2024
A massive thank you to all who participated in the first annual golf tournament for the Miles for Maddie Foundation. We had a total of 121 golfers sign up to play, more than 18-hole sponsors donate and so many generous companies and individuals that donated items for our silent auction- you are all amazing! Thank you to the Tuckaway Tavern who donated a delicious lunch for our hungry crowd, Aroma Joe's in Epsom for donating coffee and Rosco Plumbing for donating muffin funds to get the golfers started so early in the morning. It was because of all of you that this event was so successful. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to honoring Maddie again with all of you next year.

Please consider donating to Miles For Maddie to assist us with the continued support of youth's participation in Driver's education. This is in hopes of also ensuring that since Maddie can't drive the miles she dreamed of driving herself, those in need can for her.

Please think about donating to this unique cause if you can. There are little to no resources that focus on assisting with the cost of driver's education, which is a vital part of independance for many. All donations are appreciated and will be used to honor Maddie through supporting other teenagers in doing what she did not get to.
